Through our Masterclass Series, we invite distinguished researchersto Berlin for two-day teaching sessions on important topics in labor economics and related fields. Some masterclasses are based on contributions to the Handbook of Labour Economics, while others draw on the lecturers’ broader research expertise.
RFBerlin Masterclass by Professor Sir Richard Blundell: 11-12 March 2027
Richard Blundell holds the David Ricardo Chair of Political Economy at University College London and is Co-Director and Senior Research Fellow at the ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, where he was Research Director from 1986 to 2016. He has was knighted in 2014 for services to economics. served as President of the Econometric Society, the European Economic Association, the Royal Economic Society, and the Society of Labor Economics. His research covers microeconometrics, labour supply, consumer behaviour, taxation, and inequality.
