About Anna Bindler
Anna Bindler is Professor of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Potsdam and Head of the Crime, Labour and Inequality Department at DIW Berlin. Her research is in applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on crime, labor and inequality. Her research analyzes the economic and social causes and consequences of illegal behavior, the interaction between labor markets, inequality and crime, and the role of policy and institutions in this context. She received her PhD in Economics from University College London in 2015 and was previously employed at the University of Gothenburg and the University of Cologne.
