Axel Gottfries is a Reader in Economics at the University of Edinburgh. He obtained his PhD from University of Cambridge in 2018. His research is in labor economics and macroeconomics. Recent work has focused on antitrust in labor markets as well as reconciling worker and firm dynamics.
