Pierre Cahuc is Professor of Economics at Sciences Po and a Research Fellow at CEPR and IZA@LISER. His research lies at the intersection of labor economics and macroeconomics, with a particular focus on unemployment, wage formation, labor market institutions, vocational education, and the evaluation of employment policies. His work has appeared in leading journals including the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Review of Economic Studies. He has also contributed extensively to economic policy debates, notably as a former member of the French Council of Economic Advisers to the Prime Minister (Conseil d’analyse économique). He is a co-author of the graduate textbook Labor Economics (MIT Press) and Editor-in-Chief of IZA@LISER World of Labour.
