About Chamna Yoon
Chamna Yoon earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, after completing his undergraduate studies in economics at Seoul National University. He is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at Seoul National University. Prior to that, he held faculty positions at KAIST College of Business, Sungkyunkwan University, and Baruch College (CUNY). He has also been affiliated with various research and editorial activities, currently serving as an Associate Editor for Quantitative Economics.
His research interests span urban economics, public finance, housing policy, and structural econometrics. His work has contributed to understanding the dynamics of regional adjustment, electoral accountability, housing market frictions, and intergenerational transfers. His papers have been published in journals such as the AER, JPE, QE, IER, JFE.
