About Colm Harmon
Professor Colm Harmon is Provost and Professor of Economic Policy at Edith Cowan University in Australia. He has held positions at the University of Edinburgh (Vice Principal and Professor of Applied Economics), University of Sydney (Vice Provost, Head of School and Professor of Economics) and University College Dublin (Director of the UCD Geary Institute and Professor of Economics), and has been a visiting professor at Chicago, Princeton, UCL and the Australian National University. He has, together with colleagues, published papers in the American Economic Review, Economic Journal, Economica, Economic and Social Review, European Economic Review, Fiscal Studies, Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Health Economics, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, and Labour Economics amongst others, and has made a number of policy related contributions locally and internationally.
