Ben Elsner is a Professor of Economics and currently the Head of the School of Economics at University Dublin. His research interests are international migration, education (especially peer effects) and the impact of pollution on human capital. Aside from doing research, Ben is passionate about teaching and shares his teaching worldwide on his YouTube Channel.

Ben received his PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin. Before joining UCD, he spent five years as a Post-doctoral Researcher at IZA.
