About Emma Tominey
I am a Professor of Economics at the University of Manchester, an affiliate of the FAIR research institute in NHH and a Network Member of the Human Capital Economic Opportunities Working Group.
I am an Associate Editor at the European Economic Review, Associate Editor at Fiscal Studies. I received my PhD in 2010 from University College London where I spent some time at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. I worked before this as a Research Assistant in the Centre for Market and Public Organisation at the University of Bristol. In 2010 I moved to the University of York and held a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship. In 2025 I joined the University of Manchester as a Professor of Economics.
