About Florian Englmaier
I am a full Professor of Organizational Economics at LMU Munich.
I served as Head of Department from 2019-2022 and since then am Dean of Faculty and Strategy. I served as director of the Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE) from 2013-2019.
Prior to my current appointment, I held chairs in Organizational Economics at the Universities of Konstanz and Würzburg, an assistant professor position at LMU Munich, a PostDoc Position at Harvard (joint appointment Economics Department and HBS), a PostDoc Position at University College London (ELSE) and have spent terms as a visiting scholar at the Stanford GSB and the Kellogg School of Management.
My research interests are in Organizational Economics, Industrial Organization, Contract Theory, Behavioral Economics, and Political Economics.
