About Henry Farber
Henry Farber is Hughes-Rogers Professor of Economics Emeritus and an
Associate of the Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University.
Before joining the Princeton faculty in 1991, Farber was Professor of
Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1977-1991). In
addition to his faculty position at Princeton, Farber is a Research
Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). He is
also a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the Society of Labor
Economists, and the Labor and Employment Relations Association.
Farber served as President of the Society of Laobr Economists in
2016-2017. He received the Jacob Mincer Prize for Lifetime
Contributions to the Field of Labor Economics from the Society of
Labor Economists in 2018.
