About Nancy Chau

Nancy H. Chau is Professor of Economics at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management in Cornell University. Her area of expertise are international economics, labor economics, and development economics. She received a PhD in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University. Professor Chau was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship, and the first T. W. Schultz Award of the International Agricultural Economics Association. Her publications appeared in Economic Journal, International Economic Review, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory, the World Bank Economic Review, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
