Itay Saporta Eksten is a Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Manchester and an Associate Professor (on leave) at Tel Aviv University. He serves as an Associate Editor at The Review of Economics and Statistics.

His research interests include macroeconomics and labour economics. His work has been published in leading economics journals, including The AER, Econometrica, and The JPE.
