About Jaime Arellano-Bover

Jaime Arellano-Bover is currently a Lecturer and Senior Research Scientist at Yale University, with a joint appointment between the School of Management and the Department of Economics. He is a labor economist with research interests in earnings dynamics, migration, human capital, and how firms shape workers’ prospects.

Jaime received his PhD in Economics from Stanford University in June 2019. During 2019-2021 he was a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University. Between 2021-2023 he was a faculty member at Tor Vergata University of Rome and the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF).

He carried out his undergraduate studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), where he is originally from.
