Jonas Vlachos is Professor at the Department of Economics at Stockholm University, where he also serves as deputy chair. His research focuses on empirical labor economics and the economics of education. His particular interests lies relates to the role of skills and personality traits, and the functioning of market forces in education. He has served as an expert in several Swedish government inquiries and advisory groups, mainly related to education. Jonas also contributes to public debate through the Swedish language blog Ekonomistas and other media.
