My research applies theory, machine learning, and causal inference to study science and innovation. I focus particularly on knowledge production in teams and the role of AI and automation in shaping scientific and technological progress.

I am a member of the MIT Initiative for the Digital Economy for the Sloan School of Management and the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL).
