Jan Rose Skaksen is the Research Director at the ROCKWOOL Foundation, a position he has held since 2015. His research focuses on the welfare state, labor markets, international economics, and productivity. He has published numerous articles and books on these topics. From 2003 to 2012, he was a professor at Copenhagen Business School. He has also served on the chairmanship of the Danish Economic Council from 2003 to 2008 and was a member of the Danish Productivity Commission from 2012 to 2014.
