About Judit Vall Castelló
Judit Vall is Full Professor at the Department of Economics of Universitat de Barcelona and has previously been Research Director at the Centre for Research in Economics and Health Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
She is an applied economist specializing on health and labor economics.
As researcher, she has participated in several European projects and has been awarded several prestigious fellowships such as the ICREA academia, a Marie Curie Pre-doctoral Fellowship, a Fulbright-Schuman grant as well as the Robert Solow Postdoctoral Fellowship. She has spent research visiting periods at the NBER, NYU, McGill University, Tokyo University, University of Essex, Toulouse School of Economics and at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
