About Jérôme Valette
I am an economist at CEPII, currently on leave from my associate professor (Maître de Conférences HDR) position at University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. I am also head of the department DYNAMICS at the French Collaborative Institute on Migration (ICM), a research fellow at the Paris School of Economics International Migration Economics Chair, a research fellow at IZA, and a research fellow at RF Berlin. Prior to this, I received my PhD in Economics from the CERDI in 2017. I am an applied economist with a strong interest in international migration, labor economics and political economy. My current research mainly focuses on the impact of immigration on receiving countries and particularly how it shapes natives' attitudes and political preferences.
