Kyra Hanemaaijer is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg. She obtained her PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Tinbergen Institute in January 2025. Her research lies in the fields of the economics of crime, gender economics, and labour economics, with a specific focus on discrimination and the criminal justice system.
