Lukas Freund is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Boston College. His research focuses on macroeconomics, labor markets, and technological change. He received his PhD from Cambridge University, where he was a Gates Scholar. Prior to joining Boston College, he was a postdoctoral scholar at Columbia University and a Procter Fellow at Princeton. He has held visiting positions at the OECD and the Bank of England.
