My research asks: how do workers and firms make decisions in the labor market, and how do these decisions respond to changes in the economic environment? I approach these questions by combining state-of-the-art empirical analysis with structural modeling, often in settings where search frictions hinder the matching of workers and vacancies, with the goal of improving policy design.
