About Mette Rasmussen
I am a researcher at the Rockwool Foundation Research Unit in Copenhagen and part-time at the University of Copenhagen, where I also earned my PhD (2021). After completing my PhD, I undertook a two-year postdoc, hosted first by University College London (2021–22) and later by the University of California San Diego (2022–23). My research interests are in applied labor economics, where I study worker transitions in the labor market. I am particularly interested in active labor market policies and how these can support unemployed workers into employment, as well as how workers move between jobs and experience job quality.
