About Melanie Wasserman
Melanie Wasserman is a labor economist whose research focuses on the mechanisms underlying gender differences in educational, occupational, and labor market outcomes. Melanie has been awarded the Upjohn Institute Early Career Research Award and the UCLA Anderson Eric and E Juline Faculty Excellence in Research Award, and has been recognized as a Poets & Quants Top 40 under 40 MBA Professor. She earned her Ph.D. in economics at MIT.
