About Nikos Theodoropoulos

He has a BSc in Economics (University of York, 1999), an MSc (2001) and PhD (2006) in Economics (University of Leicester). He has worked at University College London (UCL) as a Senior Research Officer at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM). He is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Cyprus and acts as a local team leader for the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). His research interests are in labour economics. He has worked on projects funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, the Boston College Centre for Retirement Research, the U.S. Social Security Administration and the European Commission. He has published in journals such as the European Economic Review, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Economica, Journal of Population Economics, Oxford Economic Papers, Economic Inquiry, American Economic Review (P&P) and others. He has contributed to various book chapters.
