About Jan Sebastian Nimczik
Jan Nimczik works as an assistant professor of economics at ESMT Berlin and is project leader at RFBerlin. He is also affiliated with IAB (Nürnberg).
In his research, Jan investigates the structure and functioning of labor markets. He examines how the mobility of jobs and workers affect the scope of internal and external labor markets; the role of worker mobility in knowledge diffusion; and the effects of network structures on labor markets. In addition, he uses historical data to examine the economic effects of migration.
