Pascuel Plotkin is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CEMFI and an incoming Assistant Professor at Boston University. He earned his PhD in Economics from the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia. His research lies at the intersection of labor and development economics, examining how alternative work arrangements such as outsourcing and the gig economy affect workers, firms, and inequality.
