About Peter Nilsson
J. Peter Nilsson is Professor of Economics at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES), Stockholm University. His research lies at the intersection of labor, health, and environmental economics, with a particular focus on the determinants and long-term consequences of inequalities in health and human capital. His work has studied, among other topics, how early-life conditions and public policies affect health, educational attainment, and labor market outcomes later in life.
Nilsson received his PhD in Economics from Uppsala University and is a Research Fellow at CEPR, CESifo, IFAU, and the Uppsala Center for Labor Studies, and a Guest Professor at Linnaeus University.
