About Petter Lundborg
Petter Lundborg is Professor of Economics at Lund University. His research interests lie in applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on labor, health, and education economics. Much of his recent work combines large-scale register data with quasi-experimental methods to study questions related to human capital formation, intergenerational mobility, and the long-term effects of early-life conditions.
He has published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Human Resources, Economic Journal, and Journal of the European Economic Association. In 2017, he received the Assar Lindbeck Medal, a national award recognizing outstanding contributions by Swedish economists.
He earned his PhD in Economics from Lund University in 2003. Before joining Lund University, he was Assistant Professor at VU University Amsterdam.
