About Randi Hjalmarsson
Randi Hjalmarsson is a Professor of Economics at the University of Gothenburg. She is a labor economist, with a research expertise on the economics of crime and the criminal justice system. Her current research focuses on the effects of prison and the labor market for workers with criminal records. She received her PhD in economics from Yale University in 2005 and was previously employed at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy and Queen Mary University of London.
