About Roberto Nisticò
Roberto Nisticò is Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Naples Federico II. He is a Research Felow at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics in Bonn and at the Center for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF) in Naples, as well as a Research Affiliate at the CESifo Network in Munich. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex. His research focuses on labour economics, with particular attention to how public policies shape labor market outcomes and fertility decisions. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Law and Economics, Demography, Economic Policy, among others. Roberto’s research has been funded by the European Economic Association (EEA), the Unicredit Foundation, the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF), UNU-WIDER, the Italian Ministry of University and Research, the Italian Social Security Institute (INPS) and the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR). In 2017, he received the Etta Chiuri Prize from the Italian Society of Public Economics (SIEP) for the best paper by an author under 40.
