About Uta Schoenberg
Uta Schönberg is the Hong Kong Jockey Club Professor of Economics (Chair) at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining the University of Hong Kong, she held professorships at University College London and the University of Rochester.
Her research focuses on labor economics, with particular interests in migration, technological change, education, and family economics.
Uta is a Fellow of the British Academy, the Econometric Society, the Society of Labor Economists, and the European Association of Labor Economists. She served as Managing Editor of the Review of Economic Studies from 2016 to 2021. Currently, she is a Co-Editor of the American Economic Review.
