Shadi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at University of Liverpool. Her primary research interest is in labor economics, specifically focusing on marriage, migration, and ethnicity. She studies the integration of ethnic minorities and the role of marriage and family in shaping this process. Before joining the University of Liverpool, Shadi completed her PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics.
