About Cevat Giray Aksoy

I am an Associate Director of Research and Lead Research Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London, and an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London. I am also a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), and the IZA Institute of Labor Economics.
Since April 2025, I have been serving as a Policy Adviser to the House of Lords, contributing to the development of the UK’s legal framework and policy approach to remote work and the future of labour markets.
