About Tito Boeri
Tito Boeri is professor at Bocconi University in Milan and Senior Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. He is Director of ECO, monthly magazine, Scientific Director of the International Festival of Economics in Torino and of the Rodolfo Debenedetti Foundation. He was Senior Economist at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), a consultant to the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, European Commission, International Labor Office as well as the Italian government. From March 2015 to February 2019, he served as President of the National Social Security Institute (INPS). He is a fellow of the European Economic Association and the European Association of Labor Economists. He is also a research fellow of the Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research (IGIER Bocconi), CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research), Centre for Economic Performance in London, IZA (Institut zur Zukunft der Arbeit) in Bonn and Netspar (Network for the Study of Pension and Retirement) in Tillburg. He has been a columnist for Sole24ore, La Stampa and La Repubblica and has worked with foreign newspapers such as the Financial Times and Le Monde. He is among the founders of the economic information site www.lavoce.info and the federated English-language site www.voxeu.org.
