Tuomo Virkola is an Academy Research Fellow at the VATT Institute for Economic Research. His research interests are in labor and applied economics, including topics in migration, education and public policy. He received his PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in 2021. He is also affiliated with the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics.
