About Wolfgang Dauth
I am head of the Research Department "Regional Labour Markets" at the IAB and Professor of Regional Labor Economics at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg.
I am a Research Fellow at the IZA and RF Berlin. I am co-editor of the Journal for Labour Market Research, a member of the board of associate editors of the Journal of Regional Science, and of the committee for regional economics of the Verein für Socialpolitik.
My main research fields are labor, urban/regional, and international economics.
Currently, I work on topics such as the interplay between the labor market and the housing market, the adjustment of individual workers to the impact of transformation, as well as commuting and matching on local labor markets.
