We are pleased to announce that submissions are now open for RFBerlin’s upcoming conference “Health and Economic Well-Being: Evidence, Policy, and Frontiers,” taking place on 16–17 April 2026 in Berlin.
The conference will bring together researchers working at the intersection of health and economics to explore how health shapes labor markets, productivity, and social outcomes. We particularly welcome contributions examining the economic and social determinants of health, health inequalities, and the role of policy in promoting well-being.
Confirmed keynote speakers include Liran Einav and Marcella Alsan, both from Stanford University, whose research is shaping the fields of health and economics.
For this conference we welcome submissions of innovative papers from scholars in economics and related social fields with an interest in the relationship between health and economic outcomes. Topics may include the impact of health on labor markets and productivity, the economic and social determinants of health, health inequalities, the role of policy in promoting well-being, and other related issues. Submissions are open until 18 January 2025.
