The RFBerlin Applied Economics Seminar series brings leading researchers to Berlin to share their latest work and engage with our community. We are pleased to welcome Clément Malgouyres for this session, where he will share his work.
Clément Malgouyres is a Research Associate at the CNRS and an economist at CREST, a research centre affiliated with the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He is also a Research Affiliate at the Institute for Public Policy. His research spans labour economics, public economics, and international economics, with a particular focus on the interaction between public policy and corporate behaviour. His work examines topics including business and entrepreneur taxation, the effects of globalization and international trade on labour markets, corporate research and development, income and wealth inequality, and environmental incentive policies. Malgouyres received his PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in 2016 and was awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal in 2024.
