The RFBerlin Applied Economics Seminar series brings leading researchers to Berlin to share their latest work and engage with our community. We are pleased to welcome Raffaele Saggio (University of British Columbia) for this session.

Raffaele Saggio is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of British Columbia. He is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a Research Fellow at IZA, and a member of the RFBerlin Network. His research focuses on labor economics and applied econometrics, with particular emphasis on matched employer–employee data and the effects of alternative work arrangements, labor market institutions, and firm behavior on workers’ outcomes. His work has been published in leading journals including Econometrica, the American Economic Review, and the Review of Economic Studies.
