About

Courtney is currently a PhD student in economics at UCL. Originally trained as a theoretical quantum physicist, he holds a PhD in physics from the University of Sydney. Since moving into economics, Courtney has received his MSc in Economic Policy in 2018 and MRes in Economics in 2020, both from UCL.

Courtney’s research interests are primarily in applied labour economics. His current work focuses on the impact of technological change on the labour market, and especially how this has affected population health.
