Harald Schultz is Press Director at the ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin (RFBerlin).

He was previously press officer at the ifo Institute in Munich, one of Germany’s leading economic research institutes, where he significantly expanded its media presence and helped establish it as the most-quoted economic research institute in the country.

As a journalist, he worked for Reuters, the Associated Press (AP), dapd, Handelsblatt, Manager Magazin, Zeit Online, and other outlets, and served as Paris correspondent for the German weekly Die Woche. He trained at the Henri-Nannen-Schule in Hamburg, one of Germany’s most prestigious schools of journalism.

Before that he obtained a diploma in Political Science and Economics from the University of Hamburg and spent a year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris.
