Izabela Wnuk-Soares is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin (RFBerlin) and DIW Berlin. She has also held research stays at Boston University and UC3M and earned an MSc from the London School of Economics.

Her research focuses on labor economics and applied microeconomics, with particular interest in the effects of immigration on labor market and health outcomes of both native and immigrant workers. She also examines how immigration can address labor shortages related to population aging, especially in the long-term care sector.

Izabela Wnuk-Soares is a also a co-organizer of the RFBerlin Masterclasses and the RFBerlin Applied Economics Seminars.
