RFBerlin-CEPR Annual Symposium in Labour Economics 2026

The 2026 RFBerlin-CEPR Annual Symposium in Labour Economics, will take place on 11-12 June 2026, organized in collaboration with Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). The symposium will feature papers on all topics in labour economics.

Keynote Speakers

Danielle Li (MIT Sloan School of Management) is the David Sarnoff Professor of Management of Technology and a Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Her research interests are innovation, digital, and personnel economics, with a focus on the uses and consequences of technology in the workplace.


Basit Zafar (University of Michigan) is the Reuben Kempf Professor of Economics and Managing Editor of the Economic Journal. His research interests are in labor economics, the economics of education, and household finance, with a focus on how individuals make decisions under uncertainty. His work combines diverse empirical approaches, including the use of subjective expectations and experimental data.

Call for Papers

Researchers can submit a paper or express interest in attending via the CEPR HUB till 31 of January 2027.

Funding

For presenting authors, accommodations in Berlin (up to three nights) and travel expenses will be covered according to the CEPR Travel guidelines. Meals during the conference will be provided for all participants.
