If conflict in the Middle East triggers large-scale refugee movements, where would people go? CReAM at RFBerlin published a report on “Migration Aspirations, Diaspora Networks and Refugee Destinations from Iran and Lebanon” by Christian Dustmann, Tommaso Frattini and Camilla Piovesan. They found the answer lies mainly in where refugee communities already exist, and in Europe that points, above all, to Germany.
