About Jason Sockin
I am thrilled to be an Assistant Professor in the ILR School at Cornell University. My research centers on better understanding how the Internet and technology have fundamentally altered the ways in which workers and firms interact in today's labor market. I have worked as a researcher at the IZA - Institute of Labor Economics, U.S. Treasury, Penn Wharton Budget Model, Glassdoor, The Congressional Budget Office, The White House’s Council of Economic Advisers under the Obama Administration, and The Federal Reserve Board of Governors. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor's Degree from the Honors College at Stony Brook University.
