About Shulamit Kahn
Shulamit Kahn is a Professor at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, where she has been since 1987. She is an expert on Women in STEM and scientific careers more generally and published extensively on this topic (including Journal of Economics Perspectives, RESTAT, Psychological Science in the Public Interest, Nature, Academic Medicine, AEA Papers and Proceedings, Oxford Handbooks.) Dr. Kahn's other current research area is high-skilled immigration v. emigration of foreign students with STEM degrees, studying both their choices and their impacts (including publications in RESTAT, Research Policy, Small Business Economics, and coediting an NBER book.) She received her Ph.D. from MIT in Economics in 1983.
