About Susan Vroman
Susan Vroman is Professor of Economics Emerita at Georgetown University. She has a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Stockholm University in 2023. She has been a Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia, the Vrije University of Amsterdam, Stockholm University, Osaka University, and the University of Melbourne.
Her current research focuses on equilibrium search theory with applications to the labor and housing markets. She also works on the labor market behavior of women and on the labor market effects of paid parental leave.
