Jens Hainmueller (Stanford University)
Jens Hainmueller is Professor of Political Science at Stanford University. He is the founder and Faculty Co-Director of the Stanford Immigration Policy Lab, which works with governments and NGOs to design and evaluate immigration and integration policies. His research spans statistical methods, causal inference, immigration, and political economy, and has appeared in Science, Nature, and PNAS as well as leading field journals. He has contributed to widely used methods such as synthetic control and entropy balancing. He is Andrew Carnegie Fellow and Fellow of the RFBerlin Network.

Giovanni Peri (University of California, Davis)
Giovanni Peri is the C. Bryan Cameron Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of California, Davis, and Founder and Director of the UC Davis Global Migration Center. He is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research examines the economic determinants and consequences of international migration and immigration policy, with a focus on labour markets and productivity in receiving countries. He has published around 100 articles in journals including the American Economic Review and the Review of Economic Studies. He is a former Co-Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association and chaired the UC Davis Department of Economics from 2015 to 2019.
