On World Refugee Day, CReAM published its report on “The Refugee Population in Europe in 2025: A Decade of Growth Comes to a Halt“. Written by Christian Dustmann, Tommaso Frattini, Camilla Piovesan and Giuseppe Pulito, the report analyzes refugee and asylum trends in Europe in 2025. It finds that refugee numbers have largely stabilized, while asylum applications declined significantly, particularly due to fewer Syrian applications after the fall of the Assad regime.
