A working paper is where research lives before the world reads it. This season, we open ours up.
Working Papers is a new five-episode podcast season in which our host Tim Phillips sits down with the researchers behind the projects at RFBerlin. Each episode takes one research topic and works through it in plain terms: what the evidence shows, and why it matters beyond academia. The aim is to make current economic research accessible while it is still fresh, often months before it reaches a journal. The five episodes cover: the decision to migrate; the effect of the China trade shock on competitiveness; collective bargaining; workplace networks and labour mobility; as well as the case for better migration data.
